hot/cold baths for the legs!
runner’s lunge, hamstring stretch, IT band stretch and foam roller!
Shower then a beer (to replenish carbs) and an episode or 2 of futurama (cause awesome)
Lots of water, a banana and some peanut butter. :-).
It’s gotta be the ice bath for me, nothing else seems to get rid of the bangs and bruises after a weekend of soccer. Hurts so good. And maybe some after workout nachos 🙂
Protein shake, hot bath and a massage!
Stretch stretch stretch. I love just lying on the floor and stretching my hips. And while I’m doing that, I might just take a snooze!
I picked up a ‘Rumble Roller’ in Calgary a few weeks ago.. It looks like some sort of torture device, definitely not your regular foam roller or for the faint hearted, but it’s like a having a deep tissue massage whenever you need it. Great recovery tool.
Stretch out, drink some fluids (choc milk is nice) take a nap
A team pitcher of beer, of course 😉
A hot shower asides, nothing is better than kicking my feet up, playing videogames and eating a Nutella sandwich to offset all that hard work!
Nothing beats a nice long Savasana +/- embarrassingly falling asleep in public.
